Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website or the Swerve plugin (together, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

License Grant

Swerve is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Swerve for your own music production, mixing, and sound design work. You may not resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute Swerve or your license to it, and you may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying algorithms of the plugin, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Any music, mixes, or other audio you create using Swerve are entirely your own. You’re free to use, release, and sell that work commercially, in any project, with no royalties owed to us and no attribution required. This license covers only your use of the Swerve software itself — it does not transfer any ownership in Swerve, including its underlying code, algorithms, and DSP, which remain the sole property of Swerve-Audio.

Free Trial

Swerve is available as a free 60-day trial offering the full functionality of the plugin, with no features held back. This trial period is intended to give you every opportunity to evaluate Swerve fully — in your own projects, on your own system — before you buy. At the end of the trial period, continued use requires a valid purchased license.

Purchases and Refunds

All purchases of Swerve are final. Because Swerve is available as a free 60-day trial offering the plugin’s full functionality, you have the opportunity to fully evaluate it before paying anything, and no refunds are offered once a purchase is made. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to evaluate Swerve during the trial period and you waive any right to a refund, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Purchases are processed through a third-party payment processor and are subject to that processor’s own terms. If you run into a technical or licensing problem, contact us — we’re glad to help you get Swerve working, even though refunds aren’t offered.

Compatibility

Swerve currently supports macOS 11 and later, as a VST3 or Audio Unit (AU) plugin. Supported platforms and formats may change over time as we add or update them.

Intellectual Property

Swerve-Audio and its original content, branding, logos, visual design, and software are owned by Swerve-Audio or used with appropriate permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that ownership to you beyond the limited license above.

No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every system configuration or third-party software. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Swerve-Audio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or relating to the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects rights available under mandatory consumer law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
